KHA looks to rebound from recent setbacks

Nov. 13, 2024

It was a rough start to November for Kootenay Hockey Academy at the club's latest JPHL Showcase in Abbotsford.

On Halloween, KHA fell 4-0 to Lloydminster, followed by a 7-1 loss to Okanagan on November 1.

The Academy took another loss November 2, ending up on the wrong side of a 9-1 final versus Edmonton.

The Showcase closed November 3 in a hard fought 8-5 loss against Island, Alex Johnson netted two goals while Soren Nicol, Wyatt Borys and Bryce Birmingham rounded out KHA's offense.

KHA is back on the ice this weekend for three games in Alberta, November 15-17.
