KHA goes the distance vs Lloydminster, falls to Titans

Another weekend of JPHL Showcase action in Alberta for the Kootenay Hockey Academy has come and gone.

KHA went up against Lloydminster on Saturday January 13, with both teams cued in on the offenseive.

The Academy's Danik Reeves and Sorren Nichols each posted 2 goals and 2 assists while Louis Prystupa added another tally en route to a 6-5 shootout loss.

On Sunday, January 14, KHA fell 6-1 to the Titans Hockey Union.

KHA was also scheduled to play on Friday, January 12, vs the Calgary Rockies, however the game was not played due to issues with the team's bus. A makeup date for that game has yet to be announced.
