KHA goes 0-3 at final November JPHL Showcase
The Kootenay Hockey Academy U18 club continues to aim to find its stride following last weekend's JPHL Showcase in Nisku, Alberta.
On Friday, KHA fell 5-1 to the U18 Titans Hockey Union, forward Rhett Steel had the lone goal for his squad.
Saturday's game ended in a 9-1 loss to Lloydminister, Rylan Daley earned the only KHA goal in that game.
The showcase ended Sunday with a 5-1 loss to HC Edmonton, Jacob Flemming earned a third period goal for KHA.
The academy squad was without forward Danik Reeves for two of their three games over the weekend as he was travelling with the BCHL's Cranbrook Bucks.
This was the last JPHL Showcase of 2023 for KHA, they are suiting up next at the JPHL Winter Championships December 13-15.
The next showcase event is happening in early January.
